The project developer is NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL).

The project is a component of the Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park, a site planned to reach a capacity of 30 GW from solar and wind sources. As of April 2026, the total installed capacity at the Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park reached 9.4 GW.

The commercial operation date for the 105 MW segment was May 28, 2026. This status follows disclosures made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Regulations. Regulatory filings regarding this commissioning were submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited on May 27, 2026.

Corporate Strategic Alignment

The operationalization of the 1,200 MW Khavda-II project supports the NTPC Group target to achieve 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032.
