• Financials: Bidders must provide an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1.424 million per MW.

Scope of Work & Execution Mandates

The selected developers are responsible for the end-to-end execution of the projects. The scope of work includes:

• Identification and acquisition of land.
• Obtaining all statutory approvals and grid connectivity clearances.
• Development of the transmission network from the project site to the interconnection point.
• Installation of transmission equipment, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Construction and development of associated line bays.

Recent Context and Previous Awards

This integrated solar-plus-storage tender follows several standalone energy storage and renewable energy milestones in Bihar:

• 2025 Standalone BESS Awards: BSPGCL previously awarded a 125 MW/500 MWh standalone BESS project to six developers: Barbrik Projects, Saatvik Green Energy, Kundan Green Energy, Prostarm Info Systems, Hindustan Thermal Project (Hindustan Power), and Suryam International. These standalone projects were awarded at a fixed capacity charge of approximately ₹4.44 lakh per MW per month.
• January 2026 Commissioning: The first phase of a 301 MW/495 MWh solar-plus-storage project was commissioned in early 2026. This phase, involving an investment of ₹18.1 billion, included 185 MW of solar capacity and 254 MWh of BESS.
