NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has reported the operationalization of 87.5 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan, effective April 19, 2026. The commissioning of this capacity marks the commercial operation of a designated portion of a larger solar installation project located within the state.

Project Hierarchy and JV Structure

The capacity addition was executed under Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited. This entity is a subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (ONGPL), a joint venture established through a 50:50 partnership between ONGC Green Limited (OGL) and NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL). OGL and NGEL are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and NTPC Limited, respectively.
