The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) issued an Office Memorandum dated July 6, 2026, announcing the release of Revision XLIX (49) to the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-I for solar PV modules. The current revision records the addition of 10,494 MW of manufacturing capacity. Following this update, the cumulative enlisted capacity under ALMM List-I stands at 204,383 MW.

New Manufacturing Entrants to List-I

Four manufacturing entities were added to the ALMM List-I as first-time enlistments in the July 2026 revision. These facilities utilize 1500V system voltages for all newly approved models:

  • M/s COSMIC PV POWER LIMITED: Enlisted for its facility located at Block No. 178, 194B, 194A, Mandvi, Tadkeshwar, Surat, Gujarat. The approved manufacturing capacity for this unit is 1,848 MW. Enlistment covers Bifacial N-Type TOPCon modules in 132-cell, 120-cell, and 108-cell half-cut configurations.
  • M/s Solarium Green Energy Limited: Enlisted for its facility at Survey No. 508/1 and 508/2, Village Miroli, District Daskroi, Bareja, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The facility has an approved capacity of 1,230 MW. Technology approvals include Bifacial P-Type Mono c-Si PERC and Bifacial N-Type TOPCon modules across configurations of 156, 144, 132, and 120 half-cut cells. Validity is effective from July 6, 2026, through July 5, 2030, under BIS registration R-72015466.
  • M/s Havells India: Enlisted with a manufacturing capacity of 1,221 MW at its facility in Surat, Gujarat. The approved models utilize N-Type TOPCon module technology.
  • M/s NRG SOL Power Private Limited: Enlisted for its facility at Plot No. 1-J, Electronic Manufacturing Cluster, Sector 22, New Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The approved capacity is 59 MW. Enlisted technologies include TOPCon modules, Bifacial Mono-PERC, and Mono-PERC variants utilizing 144 half-cut cells.

Administrative Changes and Technical Compliance Standards

The MNRE memorandum incorporates specific administrative updates and technical eligibility criteria for crystalline-silicon (c-Si) technology:

  • Company Records: The name and address of Best Apartments Private Limited have been revised to RPSG SOLVANTA PRIVATE LIMITED. The facility is located at Khasra No. 174, 175, 200, 201, 202, and 208, Sarangpura, Bad ke Balaji, NH-8, Jaipur Ajmer Road, Tehsil Sanganer, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Pin Code- 302026.
  • Validity: Enlistment remains contingent upon the maintenance of valid BIS registration. Expiration or cancellation of BIS certification results in automatic delisting from ALMM.
  • Module Efficiency Thresholds: To be eligible for enlistment, c-Si based modules must meet the following minimum efficiency requirements:
    • Category I (Utility/Grid Scale Power Plants): 20.00%
    • Category II (Rooftop and Solar Pumping): 19.50%
    • Category IV (Any other application): 19.00%
  • ALMM List-II Context: Solar projects awarded through competitive bidding with a bid submission deadline on or before August 31, 2025, are exempt from mandatory solar cell sourcing from ALMM List-II. These projects are required to use approved modules from ALMM List-I.

Procedural Note

This update was issued by the Grid Solar Power Division of the MNRE. Technical specifications, including module efficiency and registration validity, are verifiable via the official Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website using manufacturer-specific registration numbers, such as R-72015679 for Cosmic PV Power and R-72015466 for Solarium Green Energy.
